Our Primary Shakespeare Festival has been a tremendous success this week, and we are especially excited for tonight’s performance from our 6th Class students. Many of these students have played a wide range of roles since Lower 1st, experiencing over 20 plays each year as both performers and audience members. To the best of my knowledge, John Colet is the only school on the planet to offer such a comprehensive Shakespeare program! After speaking with our graduating students, it’s inspiring to hear how many are eager to continue exploring drama in the future.

Bringing these performances together is no small feat and would not be possible without the dedication of so many. First, a heartfelt thank you to our teachers and support staff, who have been preparing, practicing, and refining these plays throughout the year. A special thank you to Ms. Lilla for her direction, and to Glen Street Theatre for their support. And, last but certainly not least, our gratitude to the parents for their help with makeup, costumes, and rehearsing lines at home—your support truly brings the magic to life!
