4th class went on a Rocks Walking Tour on Wednesday 29th February. We all dressed up in costumes of convicts and soldiers. It was raining so we had to wear raincoats. We had a tour guide called Leisa. We went to a place near Cadman’s Cottage where there was a statue of a man called William Bligh. We went inside the cottage.
Next Leisa talked about the different convicts and how they died. One convict drowned in a water hole. There was a warehouse with rope that the convicts used to pull up supplies to the warehouse. And there was a sandstone block which was carved into people.
Leisa also talked about an Aboriginal man called Bennelong who was friends with Captain Arthur Phillip. Then the tour finished. We had heaps of fun.
