Each year, with the guidance and direction of art teacher, Juli Allcorn, 6th class students create a combined artwork to enter in the Gallipoli Art Prize, which is held in Sydney and open to the public to view. So far, each year our students’ works have been hung as finalists. Good luck for this year too, 6th class!
Their artwork this year is in honour of Wykeham Henry Kobe Freame [1885-1941) and represents his career as an orchardist; the drawings of the medal are to represent the A.I.F.’s first Distinguished Conduct Medal and the portrait drawings are of him through his life.
