Deputy Head of School’s comment

This week we have continued to visit classrooms and have had some interesting and enjoyable conversations with the children. At the beginning of each meeting, we pause and as I watch the children gather themselves and become quiet, I am continuously reminded of the value of this very simple but far-reaching exercise. The pause gives the children an opportunity to come into the present and refresh themselves. As we are spending so much time in front of screens at the moment, a chance to recharge their energy regularly throughout the day is of great value. It is very encouraging to see the children making such genuine efforts.
