Thank you to all of you in the school community for supporting the school I was at in Kenya. They will be over the moon at receiving all your wonderful gifts – and we are hoping to get it out to them in time for Christmas! Your gift is very special and much needed as these poor children have very little.
They live in very basic conditions often without proper sanitation or clean water. Forget about TV, internet and Minecraft! Yet they consider themselves lucky as they get to go to school! So your gifts and books and games will really help the school and give the children a better understanding of the wider world. Also they will now enjoy being able to do some colouring and painting which they could never do as there were no paints or paper or anything!
Here is a picture to show you how adorable they are and so happy. They can teach us a lot about appreciating what you have. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving back to those less fortunate!
