DISCOVER AN ENRICHED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR CHILD

A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE...

ABOUT US

JOHN COLET SCHOOL BELROSE

John Colet School ( Primary School ) is a multi-faith, co-ed, independent K-6 school, located within a peaceful bushland setting in Belrose, on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Comprised of two classes at each year level, our focus is on the development of character, attention, and values, which are the basis of academic achievement.

LEARNING AS UNIQUE AS YOUR CHILD

Values and Awareness

We place a deliberate focus on character development and values. Academic results mean nothing without faith in yourself and respect for those around you.

Focus and thinking skills

We know that each of our students is different and that it is individual progress and development of character that is the real evidence of success.

Performance and mindfulness

The unique aspects of our curriculum, such as classical languages, Shakespeare, enriched singing, and art, extend students holistically and deepen their self-knowledge.

Stillness and creativity

Regular ‘pausing’ throughout the school day helps children learn how to fall still, quiet the mind, and give their attention to the task at hand.  Creativity then flows.

Independence and community

Our multi-faith setting, collaborative learning opportunities, buddy system, co-curricular and sporting activities, and the fact our children stay with the same supportive class teacher for two or three years, build a real sense of community, confidence and independence.

KIND WORDS FROM SCHOOL PARENTS

John Colet has provided our children with a beautiful, nurturing primary school environment. Our children have truly been encouraged to pursue the school values whilst consistently being challenged academically, exposed to incredible opportunities in the Arts and being blessed by the fruits of community. John Colet will always hold a place in our hearts. We are so grateful to all the dedicated staff that make John Colet School truly unique.
