Last Saturday two Year 4 teams and one Year 6 team competed in the annual German International School Soccer Competitions for those respective age groups.
All the teams showed great courage and performed with great skill, and a fun and enjoyable day was had by everyone, with fantastic support from children and parents. The Year 4 teams finished 3rd and 5th.
The Year 6 team of Jules S, Leo P, Ayush O, Katia C, and Yatin V were fantastic, going through the competition undefeated and lifting the trophy to be crowned winners! – Tim Roslin
And from Leo: “In the Final we versed the Japanese School. It was a great game with Ayush and Yatin dominating the defense, not letting anyone past them. Jules had a collection of saves. Katia made some great passes and goals. When the whistle was blown, John Colet won 5 – 2. We took the trophy home.”
