5th class and 2nd class students have been learning about the endangered plant Grevillea Caleyi in art lessons recently. Not only drawing the flower and leaves in detail, but finding out about the threats to its survival. The school plans to enter student artworks in a regional art competition that is designed to increase awareness of local endangered species. The students were interested to know that there is a fenced reserve behind our school were Grevillea Caleyi is growing in its natural habitat.
