There’s a lot going on after school on Wednesdays… that’s when the John Colet Choir rehearses and Mandarin club is also in full swing.
New activities this term include Science Club with Mrs Crewe, the scientists played periodic table bingo this week. Mrs Crewe says they have just started a new unit on chemistry and will be doing some exciting experiments. She says there are still spots open and everyone is welcome to join. Young Yogis is also underway in Top House with tutor Pia contactable on pia@youngyogis.com.au if you would like your primary aged child to join.
There’s also Sanskrit chanting and this week the children learnt two verses from the Bhagavad Gita. The verses espouse kindness to all beings, being free from the ego and being tolerant of others. Shankara has a blog at www.sydneypatashaala.wordpress.com if you d like to take a look.
