We completed a unit of work on Koala Lou by Mem Fox – looking at narrative text, visual literacy, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, recounting the story. The Australian animal theme extended into investigating an animal (Science) and writing an Information Report about it. This was presented as a Show and Tell project. We have completed paintings (Art), diagrams and drawings of our chosen animal. Finally we reflected on our learning and set goals for our next Information Report Writing. Lots of learning and fun!
