Chess 2018. Chess begins Week 2 of Term 1
Monday 3:05-4pm Primary Chess – $85 per term
Monday 3:05 4pm Senior Chess (by invitation only) – $95 per term
Wednesday 12:25 12:50pm Infants Chess (1st and 2nd Class only) – $45 per term
Lower First Chess will commence in Term 3.

JC Instrumental Ensemble 2018
Conductor Ms Rosy Davidson
Rehearsals: Friday mornings 7.30 – 8.25am in the Music Centre
This ensemble is open to all wind, string and percussion players. A level of AMEB 1st Grade (or equivalent) is recommended to join the group. The group learns and performs a variety of classical and contemporary repertoire in a fun social setting. Performances are held once or twice each term at school events and concerts.

Beginner Violin Ensemble 2018

Rehearsals: Monday mornings 7.45 – 8.25am in the Music Centre
This new program has been created for students in Upper 1st and above who want to try the violin or viola in a fun group setting.
It is an inexpensive way of trialling an instrument that runs for just Term 1 – Term 2.
(A limited number of violins are available for free during the program period, or instruments can be hired from Sydney String Centre).

Individual Music Lessons 2018
Private Instrumental and Vocal lessons are held in the Music Centre during school hours by highly qualified and experienced musicians.
Fees: $40 per half hour.
Lessons are currently available in these instruments: Flute, Guitar, Piano, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello

5th and 6th Class: Senior Latin Friday morning 8:10-8:40 in the Library

Tuesday class: 3:10pm 5:00pm (for students who speak Mandarin at home)
