Asia Day [Back to Gallery]
6th class have been studying Asia in Geography and had a special Asia Day in the last week of term. Parents came in and helped with the Indian and Chinese cooking, sushi making, sewing Japanese dolls and Chinese brush art. After recess there was henna hands, origami and rangoli pattern making. The delicious lunch consisted of curries, dumplings and sushi. Afterwards we learnt some tai chi moves from Mr Condos and Indian dancing from Ms Miller. We really enjoyed our day and are very grateful to everyone who helped make the day work.
