The final debates of the season were hosted by John Colet in the last week of July, and guests at the school were from Gaulston College, the Sydney Japanese School and The Alexander School. The Japanese School team won against The Alexander School team.
John Colet School debated against Galstaun College. The topic was “We should play to win” and we were the affirmative team.
The first speaker was Nathaniel Van D, second speaker Jarod C and 3rd speaker Raveena D. The result was a tie, which was a surprising outcome. This brings our debating season to an end.
