In a John Colet first, the debating final this year was a three way debate the result of a three way tie between ourselves, the Japanese School and Alexander Primary School. Our debate was, What is the best type of education? with the three sides being online, through life experience and within a school. We were Within a School . The debate had a different structure to usual and the team consisting of Omar, Aaron, Jack B and Mi Mi had to work cooperatively and diligently to navigate this tricky debate. Luckily, this hard work paid off and we won! The John Colet team were on fire with their rebuts, they had one minute to rebut each team after each speaker spoke and at times the JCS Team managed to get four rebuts in in one minute! Amazing!
