From our Deputy Head of School

At this time of year, we turn our attention to Leadership roles in the school. There are a number of different areas of leadership including Art Prefect, Head Chorister, Art monitors, Shakespeare monitors and Library monitors. Children in 5^th class will be asked in the next few weeks to put their names forward to be considered for Head Boy, Head Girl and the four House Captains. These nominees are given a topic to speak on and half an hour to prepare prior to presentation. Children in 4^th, 5^th and 6^th class and teachers then cast their votes. We find every year that the children rise to this occasion with maturity, sincerity, and a real sense of responsibility.
