Hello we had another good meeting with a great exchange of information at the P&F meeting held on Monday the next meeting will be Monday 3rd April. There are a few calls for help this week as follows:
Shakespeare Costume Person Required Roya A will be taking up study commitments later this year and needs to hand the responsibility of looking after the wardrobe over to another person. Roya will be available to show you the ropes during the Infants festival. If you have a reasonable amount of time you can give and are a fairly organised person this could be the role for you. If you think you might be interested or want to know more contact your Class Parent and they can pass your message onto Roya or myself.
Gala Dinner Auction Items Required & date changed to Friday 8th September due to a change of venue we have had to change the date. We would like everybody to put their thinking caps on for Auction Items as this will be the main way we raise funds. Suggestions were Art works / paintings, donate an experience e.g. degustation dinner, boat trips, holiday homes, headmaster for a day to name but a few. If anybody has something they can offer or have suggestions for auction items please forward them to your class parent or myself.
Movie Night 1st April 6th Year are currently surveying the students a short-list of movies to find out which one will be viewed on the night. As far as timing goes this is the proposal Gates Open at 5:30pm, movie starts at 7pm all done by 9pm. For those of you who have not been before this is a great opportunity to meet and catch up with other parents in a relaxed and child friendly environment. The children love the fact they are at school after hours and not in uniform and run around having fun with their friends before the movie starts. It’s a great social and family time as we all gather under the stars to watch the movie. I really do recommend you come along. We will announce the movie as soon as we know it.
