Well done to our 6th class students whose combined artwork, Woven Connections, has been accepted as a finalist in this year’s Gallipoli Art Prize, which is administered by the Gallipoli Memorial Club.
The acrylic mixed media artwork is inspired by the designs found on Turkish carpets. The ship silhouettes represent the landings and evacuations at Gallipoli, and the colour red, the sacrifice of all.
