We have had a busy two weeks in the school garden. Theresa brought in some pots and the children potted some beautiful pansies to take home for Mother’s Day.
There was also time for digging, weeding and planting some seedlings. This usually involves having fun and getting our hands dirty!
There is just about enough room for most of the kids to squeeze into the passionfruit teepee for afternoon tea.
The extended warm weather is keeping the garden going. Our vegetable seedlings are growing and the worms have settled into their new home beneath the tree.
We ll be cleaning up the area so it looks even more beautiful for Open Day.
More plans are afoot for the JCS Garden. Stay tuned!
