The Invictus Games currently being held in Sydney is a strong example of the Value we are addressing this Term, Service. We spoke briefly at assembly this week with regards to the service these competitors have given their countries and the service we give in acknowledging and valuing their sacrifice. If you have not heard the the Duke of Sussex’s Speech at the opening of the Invictus Games, I encourage you to do so with your children. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68ehGf73c90f We also encouraged the students to look for ways that they could give service during the week, with the extra task of trying to do it without looking for thanks. I hope you may have spotted some examples at home!
