We look forward to learning of all the adventures our families have had as we welcome back our students to John Colet School this week. We are also very fortunate to be receiving new students to our community from Lower First through to Year 4, which has led to us surpassing the 200 mark for enrolments. A special thank you to all parents, particularly our Class Representatives for making our new families feel welcome. We are also welcoming a new teacher, Ms. Grace Bower, to our Lower First team.
We have a wide range of events to look forward to this Term, including the Sanskrit recitation competition, Science and Book Week, Grandparents Morning, School Camps for Years 4, 5 and 6, and also our highly anticipated Parents and Friends Bush Dance! Plans are being finalised for the addition of two new classrooms and we expect that construction will begin late this year with the proposed completion date set for mid to late 2017. We will keep you up to date as these plans progress.
As in the past, we are always interested to hear from our community and welcome feedback to improve. Suggestions can be sent to admin@johncolet.nsw.edu.au . On behalf of all the staff at John Colet School we wish you a stimulating, rewarding and enjoyable Term 3.
