Our students (and staff) have certainly enjoyed the sunshine this week. Hopefully, the good weather shall continue, and the fields will dry out so that our regular sports programs can take place.
Lately, we have witnessed, and have been informed by our parents, neighbours, and most recently parents of Belrose Public School, of dangerous driving and poor behaviour from our community. We do count on our parents to model the same values that we expect from our students. However, more importantly, we want to ensure the safety of both our students and those in our neighbourhood. A reminder to please respect the road rules, particularly speed limits, correct turning and indicating, and the use of seatbelts.
As a friend once reminded me when stuck in a car line; ‘remember, you are the traffic’.
