We’re still serving hot, vegetarian lunches to students and staff at least two days a week. Using BBQs (one donated by Bunnings), portable cook tops and a lot of preparation at home, the kitchen staff has relocated from our fire-damaged kitchen and dining hall to prepare and serve hot food on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Vegetarian hamburgers, soups, saucy pasta and nachos have been on the picnic menu.
The children really enjoy eating together on the lawn.
Our library, two classrooms and the kitchen and hall were damaged by fire in April.
