If your child/children would like to take part in the Inter School Sports competition which is open to all year 3,4,5 and 6 pupils, we will be holding trials after school from 3.10pm-4.00pm on Tuesday 27th Jan and Tuesday 3rd March.
Whilst it is not compulsory for your child to attend it would be an obvious advantage if your child/children attend after school trials. Please note that we will be assessing the children through out the first two weeks of the year during the normal sports lessons. So whether your child/children attend the trials or not does not mean that they will be unable to be picked in the School teams. we will pick the teams based on whom we believe are the best sports people at those sports.
Unfortunately being a small school a few children will miss out on selection, this is obviously regrettable as in an ideal world it would be wonderful if everyone could get a go. However should your child not make term 1 sports they may do better later in the year, as we take part in a number of different sports.
Term 1 year 5/6 Girls are doing Softball (white sports shirt needed if selected)
Term 1 year 5/6 Boys are doing Cricket (white sports shirt needed if selected)
Term 1 year 3/4 Boys and Girls are doing T.Ball (white sports shirt needed if selected)
