Instrumental lessons at John Colet School

And our Ensemble

We are now taking enrollments for students who are interested in learning the piano, violin, viola, cello and flute.

Lessons occur during school hours, by professional musicians who all hold tertiary qualifications on their instruments.

Lessons are rotational so your child doesn’t miss out on the same lessons each week.

  • Fees are $39 per half hour.
  • Performances: We put on two instrumental concerts per year

Our tutors:

Jodie Law – Piano

Rosy Davidson – Piano, violin, viola

Kathryn Crossing – violin and beginner cello

Haydn Mackay – Flute

If you would like to broaden your son or daughter’s musical education, simply register your interest by contacting Mrs Kathryn Crossing – Music Co-ordinator crossingstrings@gmail.com for further enquiries.

THE JOHN COLET ENSEMBLE
If your child learns a string or woodwind instrument (either in school time or outside the school), students may enroll in our John Colet Ensemble which is mostly made up of string players but we have recently added Bassoon. Students rehearse on a Monday afternoon straight after school. We would love some more musicians involved. Please register your interest with our wonderful conductor Rosy Davidson – rosy_davidson@hotmail.com
