Here are some Upper First (Year 1) students doing a Maths lesson on addition using 1, 2 and 3 digit numbers. They used different sided dice, place value boards and MAB counting blocks to roll dice and record the sums in their maths books. Mrs McDermott, who was observing, said it was a brilliant lesson.
