Head of school's Comment

Within our Value of Service we are currently exploring the question of whether our actions benefit everyone. This is an exercise in widening our student’s appreciation of their impact and the notion of collaboration and community. As young children we look for personal benefit, which I am sure you have witnessed in toddlers. As children mature with a good education they learn empathy and the need to take into account another’s perspective. This continues to grow as the scope widens to include the immediate family, community, perhaps ethnic or nation group and ultimately an appreciation for all.
