IPSHA speaking competition

IPSHA speakers web

On Thursday, Year 6 students Isabelle F, Sascha K and Scout B (pictured above) competed in the IPSHA Public Speaking Competition at Abbostleigh Junior School. More than 140 students from various private schools took part in the event.

The first part of the competition was a prepared speech on the stimulus ‘Missing’. Only 13 of the 140 got through this round and Sascha made it through! Next was a one minute impromptu speech on the topic ‘If I had my way’.

Congratulations to all the girls involved, they did a fantastic job. It was a truly inspiring day listening to so many talented young people.
