Enrolment for Sailing Term 4 has started and all are welcome.
John Colet Sailing runs every Saturday morning at Balmoral Beach from 8.30 am until 11am for Term 1 and 4 and is open to Years 3,4,5 &6. No experience is necessary and all are welcome, boats, life jackets and training are all provided. The younger ones tend to go out for short runs with the an experienced skipper and its mainly about having fun together and getting familiar with the boat. The older or more experienced get the chance to sail more independently and work in teams on the boats. Parents are welcome to join in and learn or just support from the beach.
We sail Lasers which are easy to manage, perfect for novices and a lot of fun. They also happen be a recognised racing class boat so are great for the more experienced to get into racing.
We are enrolling now for Term 4, 2013 and it’s important to get your form in early to hold a place. Enrolment forms are attached and also available at the school office. Fees are $140 per term.
