4th and 5th Class took part in the virtual classroom today run by the e-safety commissioner.
We listened to a talk which centred around cyber safety and we were able to contribute via the live chat box.
There were lots of other schools taking part all over Australia.
There was plenty of opportunity to discuss scenarios and we learnt about what to do if we felt unsafe on line.
It is important not to speak to people you don t know online. The virtual classroom helped to show us what we should do if someone tried to contact us. It was very interesting. (Lucia 5T)
I thought the virtual classroom was entertaining because the topic is very interesting and important. Life is not all perfect online and there are scammers and hackers who try to take your money and your personal information. You have to be very careful (Levi 5T)
