Chef’s best ever Christmas (or anytime!) Chocolate Truffles

Chocolate truffle recipe Ingredients 50g toasted coconut50 g un-toasted coconut250g good quality dark chocolate75g unsalted butter50g brown sugar1 can condensed milk Method Boil water in a pot. Place a metal or glass bowl on top of the water, add the chocolate and the butter together in the bowl, and bring the water down to simmer slowly.  Stir the mixture till starting to melt, add the sugar, condensed milk, 25g of the toasted and 25g of the untoasted coconut.  Melt till the mixture is glossy and coats the spoon. Take off the heat and put the bowl in the fridge.  Then leave for about 1 hour until the mixture is firm yet pliable.  Mix together the rest of the coconut …

Leadership speeches by 5th class nominees

Our Year in Sport

The School again took part in the PISA sports competition (Peninsular Independent Sports Association). This long running competition between 8 schools always produces the best in our pupils; they consistently show good sportsmanship towards each other and to the other schools. CricketThe Senior Boys worked hard during the Cricket Season and kept on improving week by week, overall the boys can be happy with 3rd place on the table. SoftballThe Senior Girls were very competitive and had some excellent results, ending the season in 4th place.
