In Upper 1st (Year 1) recently, the children continued to discuss the difference between Fact and Opinion in preparation to write their own Persuasive / Exposition texts. In Science, they looked at how water is precious in our homes and viewed several artefacts in History, which are now on display. And in Philosophy, they shared their understanding about Not Stealing objects or more subtle things such as taking another’s turn or share of something. The children and teachers discussed scriptural references across cultures for this concept.
