In Upper 1st M we have been learning about the Earth. This week we focussed on continents and oceans. We played a game using hula hoops as the continents to strengthen our understanding. Students then labelled the continents and oceans on a world map. In the next lesson we discussed how the continents looked like they fit together a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. We looked at images and videos of the supercontinent Pangaea from 200 million years ago. We read a fact sheet about Pangaea and used this information to help us answer some questions.
