Our new Lower First students really enjoy lunchtime!
They learn to pause and say grace and also practise offering each other food. Fruit segments are served followed by a hot, vegetarian meal, then bread with option of butter, vegemite or honey. Milk is served to the infant classes, and chilled water for all. Sultanas, pumpkin seeds, yoghurt and grated cheese are also provided. Individual dietary requirements (such as gluten free) are catered for. This year we have new dining tables, which fold away with their bench seats attached, enabling the dining hall to be more quickly cleared for other uses.
