This week 6T explored a new thinking routine in Maths using The Frayer Diagram. The Frayer model is a graphic organizer for building vocabulary. This technique requires the children to define target vocabulary and apply their knowledge by generating examples, non-examples and characteristics. We have been looking at Prime, Composite, Square and Cube numbers, with one student proposing a new theory; If you add the digits of any cube number, they always add up to either 8, 9, or 10! So far, 6T are yet to disprove the suggestion!”
