Due to your magnificent fundraising efforts last year, Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia has given John Colet School the opportunity to sponsor an orangutan of our own. ‘Our’ orangutan is named ‘Mona’ and she is a sweetie!
As her release gets closer there will be regular updates on the Going back to the forest blog at www.orangutans.com.au. That means we can collectively follow her progress from the sanctuary into the wild.
Last year John Colet School raised more than $8000 to support local teenagers Daniel and William Clarke in their campaign to save orangutans and habitat in Borneo.
