Dear 3rd – 6th class Parents,
We will have our first after school trial on Tuesday 2nd February and a final trial on Friday 5th February. All pupils will also be assessed during normal lessons times. Should your child be picked for a team it is encouraged that they practice with the team each Tuesday after school until 4.00pm.
Sports this term are:
The 5th/6th class Boys will be doing Cricket,
The 5th/6th class Girls will be doing Softball,
and 3rd/4th class Boys and Girls will be doing T Ball
The children require normal John Colet sports kit only, no other equipment is needed.
If picked for a school team, pupils must wear the John Colet Pisa white top.
Matches start on Friday 12th February and all matches will be held at Nolan Reserve in North Manly.
Ally Cavil will be taking the girls sports this year. Ally is well qualified and has loads of teaching experience. She has helped out at JCS on Fridays last year, so many of the girls and some John Colet staff have already met her.Tim Roslin
