Last Sunday, 27th August many families joined us for the Beach2Beach Family Fun Run either starting from Dee Why, Warriewood or Mona Vale and finishing at beautiful Newport Beach. We’re thrilled to announce a new record of 72 participants, a significant increase from last year’s 50. At the starting line a lot of happy faces gathered for a morning filled with fun, fitness, and family bonding. After the invigorating run participants and their families enjoyed a delightful post-run picnic right at the finish line. It was great to relax, share stories, and celebrate the achievements of the morning. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ms Coubrough and all the parents for their support in making this event a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone. A huge thank you goes to Fred G and his family for helping with the post-run picnic. Looking forward to the next Family Fun Run.
If you enjoyed the Beach2Beach Run you might want to check out the Bare Creek Trail Run which will take place on Sunday, 5th November in St Ives which has a 2km Dash, 6km family walk/run as well as the more challenging 12km and 20km courses.
