Five students from the JCS Senior Chess Club were selected to play at the Interschools Chess Semi Finals at the Ku-ring-gai Town Hall in August. The team played well and scored a good number of points. Unfortunately they did not receive enough points to move through to the finals. Rebecca L won top female player, winning five of her seven games. All the children demonstrated excellent manners and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the following students: Liam Y, Will T, Jessie L, Sadie W and Rebecca L.
