Unfortunately the Junior Girls lost 6 – 0 and we had our ups and downs. In the end, the Girls of the Game were Isla for her good goal kicks, Tavnoor for defense and Ava for trying her best.
The Senior Boys had a 9 – 5 loss and the Captain said they ‘kind of switched off’ during the second half. The Men of the Match were Frankie and Oscar for great running and receiving.
The Senior Girls had a bye and the Junior Boys had a friendly against Bayview.
John Colet School debated St Pius in the IPSHA debating round. The topic was That parents should not give their children pocket money. Our affirmative team won and our negative team lost. The adjudicator noted it was a difficult debate on a very relevant topic. The final debate is in two weeks.
