We have seen lots of Spring growth in the garden this week with the Daikon Radish seeds sown at the working bee now growing strong. These will be used as a green manure and will be turned into the soil by Garden Club attendees next term, before planting Summer crops.
The shed has also been cleaned out, more seeds sown and preparations for the composting systems are underway. A group of parent volunteers are in the garden on Tuesday mornings after drop off, please come and say hi. No experience necessary.
