Stage Coordinator Comment

Thank you to everyone, including the Weather Man, for making the Open Day such a resounding success.  Most outstanding was the work in the classrooms and the care and effort put into it by the children and their teachers.  The Sixth Class also shone with their imaginative stalls, which provided so much fun for the younger students and raised a considerable amount of money.

Reports have been posted and Parent-Teacher interviews are general to be held in Week 7.

Looming up, of course, is the Shakespeare Festival in the last week of term, and it’s full steam ahead now.

The much-needed rain has had its downside restrictive use of the grassed area in the playground to save churning it up:  so no ballgames and running til further notice.  Apologies children!

In working with the value Truthfulness, we are asking the children to become a little more reflective, and when in doubt about an action  to ask What would a wise person do here?   The children need to discuss with their teachers;    who is wise and how do we know, and then ask why is it good to follow their example.  This is a worthwhile practice for everyone.
