Over three weeks, 2nd class have been creating a sewing project for Christmas presents for parents. One of our wonderful volunteers, Mrs Michau, has co-ordinated this project with the teachers. The children have learned how to use fabric glue, align and prepare fabric for sewing, thread a needle and sew a running stitch. The children were enthusiastic, focused and proved to be surprisingly capable with some assistance from our lovely parent group.
