Our 3rd, 4th and 5th class had a visit from Mr Graham Shute, a representative from St John’s. He spoke to the children about initial responses to accidents and taught them about DRSAB – the St John plan for First Aid.
The children learnt how to put each other in the recovery position, cover wounds and even how to do some simple bandaging. They were awarded certificates and wallet cards detailing their new skills.
Clearly it was lot of fun, and a great way to learn important information.
