These boats that 2nd class made will be part of an installation at Mosman Art Gallery that local children and adults have contributed to.
The exhibition called THE BOAT; Project Another Country is the work of husband and wife team Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan who originated from the Philippines.
They are internationally known for creating works that embrace the themes of home and family while drawing on their personal experiences of migrating to Australia from the Philippines.
The children’s boats will be part of a large installation which opens at the gallery on 1 July and goes until about 10th September.
