Some of our 6th class students got to see their Gallipoli Art Award entry after it came back from the framer’s this week, and before our Art teacher Juli Allcorn whisked it off to the Gallipoli Memorial Club in Sydney.
This year’s combined entry by Year 6 features Vietnamese themed pieces of work by each student, framed together to reflect the Vietnam war.
The work culminates two terms of looking at the art and culture of Vietnam, and Western society and culture at the time of the Vietnam war.
