Welcome to our Open Day

Our Open Day is on Sunday 26th May, open to the public from 10 – 2pm.

  • This is an official school day for all students, so attendance is compulsory. Please note, Monday 27th May is a pupil free day.
  • This year’s Open Day theme is The Art of Science.
  • We will hold our annual Cake Decorating Competition during Open Day. Adults and Children’s Categories.  Extra points for decorating your cake according to this year’s cake theme of Science in Nature.  See what AI came up with above for inspiration…
  • Parents help run stalls on Open Day. Your class parent will be in touch. Just an hour or so is all that is required on the day.
  • The day before Open Day is a working bee to decorate/set up.  8am -12 noon, Sat 25th May. Voluntary attendance, please email acoubrough@johncolet.nsw.edu.au if you would like to help.
  • Children’s science workshop activities are to be pre-booked and paid online here.
  • You can pay for food and treats on the day using EFTPOS.  NO CASH PAYMENTS ACCEPTED.
  • Or your children (who probably don’t have their own EFTPOS cards) can use ‘tickets’ to purchase their own food and treats at Open Day.  You can pre-order/buy these funny-money tickets online here.  They will be ready for your child to collect in their classroom on the morning of Open Day.  No refunds on these tickets so decide how much money your child needs by looking at the food price list here.
  • You can read about how our world-famous-in-Belrose Open Day Cake Decorating Competition works here.    You can download and print an entry form here.
