National Young Leaders Day was a wonderful excursion that all Year 6 enjoyed. It was held at the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour. We listened to inspirational speeches from Tim Diamond from the Cotton on Foundation, the author Tasmin Janu, the Olympian swimmer Cate Campbell and professional cricketer Holly Ferling. We learned about the need to be persistent and push through struggles, the importance of being positive to achieve your goals and having the courage to do challenging things. We hope next year’s Year 6 will have as much fun as we did!
